It is believed this was done by transporting the sandstone to the Siem River using canals and then floating them down the river using rafts.

Angkor Wat is open to visitors from 5:00 am to 5:30 pm every day. Whereas other Angkor temples are open from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm every day. The reason for Angkor Wat being opened so early in the morning is that visitors can relish the sunrise.
